While I agree with the points you’ve made about the Democratic party in your May 7th, 10:45am comment, I’m not sure why you felt compelled to call them “pussies”. Is there something in particular about female genitalia that screams out weakness and cowardice? No, there’s not and to use the word “pussy” as a derogatory term reveals an underlying misogynistic belief that women can be reduced to their genitalia and are inherently weak. If you are concerned that you do not use sexist slurs in your blog, I would recommend that you reconsider some of the terms that you may use.

Whoops. I guess it’s just a reminder that when we use words glibly, sometimes we forget about how loaded the terms may be. My bad.
