You should see what energy is like here.... You can choose from myriad energy providers, shopping for the cheapest energy prices, and ConEd acts as their conduit... the same way the Bells have to provide access to their lines to any competitors. The problem is that shopping for energy providers is very confusing, and being an educated shopper could save me lots of money, but let's face it-- I'm not an educated consumer where this is concerned.

hey, he did the crime.

mabey it's time democrats started holding thier "leaders" to the same standards they hold republicans to.

I agree. Campaign finance laws are so murky, I'm willing to give Bustmante the benefit of the doubt (as the court did) that he probably didn't realize he was breaking the law. Cruz lucked out that the election is almost certainly happening in Oct., since he's gone from rich to broke overnight.

I think the double standard that hasn't been addressed enough is the tarring of Bustmante as "bought and sold" by the Indian Gaming Industry when the federal government is being run by energy company whores.

Bustamante is as good as Davis as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a big fan of either one at this point, but I'd still rather have them than hand over our state to a Republican. The last time we had a Republican governor, we got energy deregulation. And we all know how well that turned out...

What's funny to me is that Bustamante has already spent the cash.

if you really want to get rid of the green or indipendant "spoiler" vote, stop supporting dems who act like republicans.
