Suicider Solution

Considering how much the words of the president are parsed, if any new lingo enters any president’s vocabulary it’s no accident. That being the case, I’d like to officially go on the record as saying President Bush’s new word is really, really stupid :

“This is a country which recently was attacked by a suicider that killed innocent children and women”

“I expressed our nation’s condolences at the needless murder of innocent people, by the latest suicider.”

“That’s not to say that a suicider could slip through…”

I know, “suicide” can technically be used as a verb, but it really just makes the president sound like a dumbass.

  1. I actually prefer Fox News’s “Homicide Bomber.” I read some criticism of the term, specifically that most bombings have homicide as their inent, but homice bomber really goes to the core of the issue better. It isn’t, after all, as if the suicide bombers have stapped themselves with dynamite and are demanding something with the threat of detonating the bomb (well in the short run, anyway). Their intent is to kill as many other people as possible.
