I don’t know if there are any old, Blue Oyster Cult fans out there, but their wild, pyrotechnic stage show also included a band member riding a Harley out on stage during a cover of ‘Born to Be Wild’.

What’s next for Kerry? A thirty-foot statue of Godzilla with lasers shining out of his eyes?

I didn’t see the show, so I can’t comment on how it was.

Kerry does actually own a Harley (or at least a bike, I think it’s a Harley..I’ve only seen it head on, and it’s hard to tell), and rides it quite a bit when he’s not in DC (as best I can tell, at least…the Boston press doesn’t spend much time following the state’s congresspeople around in their free time). He borrowed this one, mostly because he probably didn’t want to ship his own across the country for this stunt.
