(I don't remember exactly where the fault line is, but I think it's somewhere along the Arkansas border.) I'd gotten home from work at the World, and so it was about 1:30 a.m. I was sitting on the couch, watching TV, and Gus the cat was dozing a the other end of the couch. All of a sudden, for about four seconds, the building shuddered, just vibrated, and then stopped. I seriously thought I was hallucinating, and I would've continued to think so if Gus hadn't been giving me the same "What the fuck just happened here?" look. Earthquakes are weird. It wasn't so bad in Glendale, and I chalked it up to my being paranoid. When I got to work, I leanred that it was apparently much more noticeable. Once again, I miss out on earthquake fun. Dang.
