A much better tactic would be to say that you don't believe the conspiracy theories, but when the president is this secretive, it's easy to see why people do. We should also borrow a page from the conservative talking points on the Patriot Act and say "Well, if he's got nothing to hide, then why does he insist on being so secretive?" If average Americans don't deserve privacy, then he doesn't either.
