Kerry (D-Mass.), Republican officials said yesterday.The officials said Bush’s negotiating team plans to resist the middle debate, which was to be Oct. 8 in a town meeting format in the crucial state of Missouri.

The commission said participants should be undecided voters from the St. Louis area.A presidential adviser said campaign officials were concerned that people could pose as undecided when they actually are partisans.

Growing up in the South, you could call a guy just about anything and not get a fight started — but never ever say “you a lie…” unless you’re ready to go bare-knuckle. Bush can’t be a Texan and let that one go without an answer.

I had a boss who was all set to vote for “poppy” in 92, until that town-meeting format debate where a citizen asked him, “how are YOU doing financially, Mr president?” when he couldn’t answer that question, my Republican boss said he just could NOT vote for Bush.
Kerry needs to focus on Bush’s cowardice NOW, and not on his cowardice 30 years ago.
Hey teeem..right on! I agree. Take a listen to the levels of applause after a Kerry or Bush soundbite. You can tell Kerry has more people showing up at his campaign stops. And unlike Bush he doesn’t make them sign a “loyalty oath”.

If Bush has any balls he’ll do that debate, but I think Karl Rove castrated him some time ago.
