The Sound of One Bush Flopping

I’ve made an MP3 which boils down last night’s debate to its core. Click on the image below to hear it :

Somebody out there with connections should send this to the Air America folks (assuming they haven’t already done something like this).

  2. Bush’s Outburst

Is a childish, mean, nasty outburst like this really worthy of the President of the United States? George Bush’s angry demeanor is no way to lead.

  5. The Revealing Moment

After I heard the debate on the radio last night — no TV where I was — I was struck by this thought: Bush can’t tell the difference between Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden. Here’s the MP3 proof. Courtesy of the brilliant and far more clever than I…

  10. How could anyone vote for this idiot?

    - A good start to your inquiry would be analyzing the media’s overwhelming control over content and perspective in terms of national debate. I’ve “killed” my television in an effort to curtail my family’s exposure to stories and events that by and large do not directly affect me. This is saying nothing of ads that utilize false arguments to addict you into a pattern of neediness and sensless consumerism.
Another place to look is at Bush’s religious beliefs, shared by millions of Americans and in some sense as old as our nation itself.
Part of the justification for torture, murder, genocide, et. al. of Native American nations by the colonialists was a deeply ingrained belief that this new found land was a gift from a gracious god to His chosen people. As evidence they compared their so called “advanced” forms of agriculture to the native’s “primitive” hunter-gatherer lifestyles, they compared their architecture, art, dress etc. The colonialists’ churches even enslaved and “converted” many people to a culture and belief system they didn’t understand and in which to this day they would remain as second or third class citizens.
The mindset of Americans is polarizing and crystalizing. Either you believe in the principles of true democracy (from the greek for “people-rule”, or government “by the people”) or your an empirialist which still belives that we are “God’s chosen people/nation” and have the God given right to start preemptive war, pull out of the Kyoto agreement, disregard international law, outsource our livelihood and enslave a nation through the degredation of civil liberties through patriot acts and other facist nonsense.
If we want a safe world we need to impeach/defeat/revolt against this assault on human rights, this abomination in the history of human politics, this threat to national security called the “Bush Administration”. If we are true patriots we will defend the constitution. We will restore the powers of congress, we will humble the judicial and executive branches, and we will once-and-for-all seperate church from state. And while we are at it… we most certainly need to elliminate corperate personhood and truly educate every single child in the world with CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS if we ever want to know peace.
We are the sovereign, not Haliburton or BushCheney,Inc. Let’s step up to the plate, shall we?

  11. You are kidding, I know. George W. Bush is a man of action. He makes decisions under presure. Let’s stop to think, Saddam hates us. Do you not think he was not supporting the terristist? You better wise up and understand that Saddam was a threat to your and my safety.

Get real. I will vote for George W. Bush for a third term over the current opponent.

  12. Thank you (BUSH fan) Gary for providing us with this “well” thought out and “educated” brain fart of yours stating: 1)”He makes decisions under pressure.”- NOT a good thing!! Important decisions like, invading countries, should not be rushed or made under pressure. 2)”Do you NOT think he was NOT supporting the TERRISTIST ?”- HUH?? UMMM! Sure…I do not think he was supporting the “TERRISTST”. 3)”Get real. I will vote for George W. Bush for a third term over the current opponent.”-UUHHH!?! 3rd TERM???…. I would think that STEALING the last election would be enough… BUT NOOO!!! He is now skipping the second term and moving right on to his THIRD.
If you are going to support a one track mind, selfish, money hungry president as your leader, at least be somewhat educated on he intent and motives. (A message from a resident not allowed to vote!)
