Something To Watch Out For

Tomorrow morning, we’ll the last “Employment Situation” report from the Department of Labor before the election. Tomorrow also marks the first Kerry/Bush debate that will address the economy. It was a pretty big gamble on Bush’s part, to move have the debates switched so the economy debate falls after this report. If the numbers are great, it’ll really help buoy his standing going into tomorrow night’s clash, but if they’re mediocre (as I expect them to be), then it’ll just add more ammo to Kerry’s arsenal of devastating news about Bush’s economic record. Considering that tomorrow’s debate is in Missouri, I suggest Kerry bring up the numbers in this graph.

  1. Prediction:

The numbers will be surprisingly good, thereby rendering Kerry’s arguments moot.

Then on Monday, after the debate, they’ll announce a correction.
