Well, we do. Get used to it. It is true that Isreal is a bunch of zealots surrounded by zealots, but they have the bomb and they are a mostly democratic people who really did have a crappy run of it 60 or so years ago. Not to say Israel sets a positive example of how to be reasonable or peaceful, but who are we to judge? Sorry to spoil the party. Yeah LKing, it’s almost like we treat Israel as our little brother.

We will never expect Israel to negotiate for peace without a credible partner. ? We will always work to provide the political and military and economic help for Israel?s fight against terror. ? We will restore American leadership in the Middle East because Israel?s security is bolstered when we lead and America is safer." Much as I dislike Bush, this, from Kerry's website, doesn't make me feel any better. Sorry to spoil the party.
