If these polls are bullshit, at least there’s a semi-consensus here. Kerry’s nailing this thing. In other news, I’m not gonna be blogging much this evening. I’ve got a watch party to host.

In other news, we’ve someone else to congratulate :

“Yet even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to divide us, the spin masters and negative ad peddlers who embrace the politics of anything goes. Well, I say to them tonight, there?s not a liberal America and a conservative America?there?s the United States of America. There?s not a black America and white America and Latino America and Asian America; there?s the United States of America. The pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into Red States and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats. But I?ve got news for them, too. We worship an awesome God in the Blue States, and we don?t like federal agents poking around our libraries in the Red States. We coach Little League in the Blue States and have gay friends in the Red States. There are patriots who opposed the war in Iraq and patriots who supported it. We are one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the United States of America.”

He’s Senator Obama now.

  1. They can start pulling all those Keyes signs up now. Zinga is losing too (running for congress in IL).
Enough with republicans putting up figure-head candidates.
Now if we can just get rid of that California governor and all his gas guzzling hummers.

  2. since the exit polls were so much in favor of Kerry
and now (12:30 am Nov 3rd) there is a large difference in favor of Bush… i think i smell a rat.

could it possibly be an untraceable voter theft via electronic voting machines? think about it- a voter goes to the polling place. places a vote for Kerry. the voting machine (built by republicans, for republicans) counts it as a vote for Bush. the voter goes and reports “i voted for Kerry!” to the exit pollsters. but later, when the votes are counted, it shows up as a vote for Bush.

admittedly, this is a conspiracy theory… but something smells fishy.

  4. Bush won, Kerry lost…get over it! Why do all the democrates alawys whine when the loose. If you like a spineless, moraless, guy vote Kerry. If you want someone who has morals and can make the ecconomy recover after the clinton fiasco, then vote Bush. Thats about as straight forward as you can get!

  5. Oh please! Bush has had four years to “make the economy recover after the clinton fiasco” How long does he need? Are you still going to be blaming Clinton in 2008 when the economy is still in the toilet? And if Democrats whine when they lose – then Republicans get out the stilletos.

  6. Actually, I heard an interview with Greg Palast this morning, where he suggested that the exit polls included people who voted provisionally, but that the official totals do not include those votes yet. I don’t know if that’s enough to make that big of a difference, though.

  7. Oh yeah, he also blamed “vote spoilage” for thousands of uncounted ballots. Again.
