SpongeBob Queerpants
This whole “SpongeBob promotes homosexuality” crusade is so fucking absurd, it’s a relief to see that the dreaded MSM™ is treating this with the level seriousness it deserves. (Hint : Check the quote under the photo)

Of course, this is hardly the first time a conservative religious leader has lashed out at the notion of tolerance. This is, after all, the same group that thinks “equal” rights are “special” rights. It’s all made even funnier when you compare James Dobson’s inability to even tolerate his enemies with Jesus’ teaching that you should love your enemies. I think little Jimmy Dobson needs to stop watching cartoons and start paying attention in church.

….ha ha ha ha ha; hee hee hee hee hee; hee hee, heh heh… Oh; oh, god, that’s great stuff. TinkyWink must be horrified, or jealous.
Just a thought: Is it possible The Right Reverend James Dobson is standing at the Back of the Closet? Or, in his private life, is he just another apprentice Bottom on SM-For-Big-Boys.com?
Or, is this christoid con artist just mentally ill? In the same socially acceptable way that people like Goebbels and Vyshinsky and Himmler and Beria were, of course.

It is more likely that Lincoln, a real person, was gay than a sponge. I have often wondered about people like Rick Santorum, Falwell, Steve Largent, etc who are so obsessed with homosexuality. It makes you think they are trying to suppress their own inclinations. Where is Larry Flynt when we need him?

I’d be willing to bet the Dobsons and Santorums of the world wake up a couple of times a week wondering why they had that curious dream about the poolboy.
I feel no small amount of pity for these people who live their lives in constant fear of their own bodies and their own minds.
But I still wish they’d either get laid or just shut the fuck up…

Sponge Bob lives in Bikini Bottom, sounds like he may be one of those contraceptive sponges…. Can’t get less gay than that.

Gothamist had a good overview of this a few days back. It *appears* that someone confused the group who made the video with another…
Uber-producer Niles Rodgers who created the video says the video actually promotes multi-culturalism and that the two groups are confused, because the foundation he works with, We Are Family Foundation (which is the name of the song he wrote for Sister Sledge) is similar to a gay youth website named We Are Family. The video’s partners include Disney, Scholastic, and Sesame Workshop, you know those classic gay-mongering children’s companies (the Seven Dwarfs, Harry Potter & Ron Weasley, Bert & Ernie).

I thought the SpongeBob movie had a lot of Hetrosexual innuendo, actually.

The best part is what the United Church of Christ did with this whole episode:
SpongeBob receives ‘unequivocal welcome’ from United Church of Christ
Be sure to check out the picture diary of SpongeBob’s day at the church.
