Seriously, I have never seen anything as hilariously jingoistic as the video for “America We Stand As One”. Here’s how my friend Amy described it :

What it is: A New Jersey Pole Vaulting champion (who bears a suspicious resemblence to a member of RATT) moved to LA decades ago and became a stunt man for Deep Space Nine, et al, before being so moved by our troops abroad that he had to record a light metal ballad called “America We Stand As One,” and subsequently shoot a video at Venice Beach surrounded by American flags and photoshop angels.

I swear, you can’t even begin to imagine how funny this video is. It’s as if every bit of post-9/11 patriotic fervor were thrown into a single three-minute clip. It makes “Let The Eagle Soar” look like a Ward Churchill rant by comparison. Watch it now.
