Tuesday Bunny Blogging
This is our new bunny, Dig-Dug. I’m posting this photo in the hopes of starting a trend in which bloggers everywhere post pictures of their pets.

If he could talk, I’d like to think he’d be the kind of guy who would make self-depreciating “pets or meat” jokes, but in reality he’d probably just end up sounding like Eeyore. Dig-dug’s a pretty laid back little guy considering that he was forcibly removed from his family, placed in a cage, and obsessed over by a couple of giant monsters (of which I am one). He’s starting to get the hang of this shitting where he eats thing, though.

Please post as many bunny pics as possible…they are way cuter than Pudus (but don’t tell Bob). I think I’m about to asplode from cuteness overload.

You said: “in the hopes of starting a trend in which bloggers everywhere post pictures of their pets..”
Actually, the latest trend in effusive pet worship is the flocking of bloggers who share the same workplace and the bundling of blogger pets to the workplace for mutual admiration, drooling and circle-cooing.
In our workplace, a University and employer of thousands, there are good bylaws against pets and small children in the work environment, yet people insist that bringing in their Lhasa Schnitzno Husqvarna is generally good and theraputic for all.
Personally, I just need to be warned so I can double up on my Seldane….
Rabbits better looking than Pudu?
Nurse!

What a cute little bunny. If you put up a picture of your baby bunny, with a picture of Bob’s baby pudu, there would be too much cuteness to contain on the screen. The good feelings would jump out of cyberspace and infect the world, leading to world peace, and the end of hunger, and disease.
Okay…maybe not…but there would be enough sweetness to cause diabetics to go into a coma.

I’m born in the year of the rabbit. I’d like Dig-Dug to be my mascot.

Usually I have a rule about saying “awwwwww…” this early in the morning, but…
“Awwwwwwwwww….”
There’s a bunch of bloggers out there that do pet blogging on a particular day. My dog Rory makes an appearance on my blog every Friday. I know Tbogg does “Basset Blogging” as well…

DAMN, he’s cute. Just don’t let the “Save Toby” guy get his hands on him, or he might be wabbit stew.

Wow, what an idea, if you did it right, people would find it soooooooo cute, they might even plink your tip-jar. I’m so glad you invented the internets.
Dig-Dug, awesome name.

Later yesterday, I got the tounge in cheek.
Boy, do I feel like an idiot.
Still, I like the bunny. DigDug *is* a great name. And to think, they laughed…laughed! when I named my hamster “Q*Bert.”

I have the world’s cutest, most adorablest cat (or she has me, take her pick), but I don’t know to put up photos on my blog, so I started doing Friday Blog Blogging: each week, I choose a post from some blog or other and highlight it. I try to choose a new blog (or at least new to me) instead of simply cribbing from TBogg and Digby each week (or, recently, from No More Mister Nice Blog), since they don’t really need no extra pub.
I really do have the world’s cutest and most adorablest cat. Trust me. I was a very fair and impartial judge of the one-entry contest.
