Explanation
Yesterday, I had intended to comment on Brownie’s resignation almost immediately after it happened. That plan obviously didn’t succeed, a failure I am going to blame on yesterday’s Los Angeles Power grid adventuras. As you must surely have read elsewhere, there was a power outage that affected large portions of LA, and while I have absolutely nothing to back this up, I will note that I began to experience severe problems with Movable Type at almost exactly same the time that downtown and half the valley lost power. These problems continued for the remainder of the day and I lost 2 different and quite wordy posts. I wisely decided to call it a day, blogging-wise.
As for Brownie’s resignation, I will only state that for the most part, Okies like myself are most certainly not such useless pricks, and I assure you that hiring and befriending members of our exclusive little club will not invariably result in enormous disasters being handled with such ineptitude.
In the meantime, problems with MT abound. It’s taking forever to post new entries, and updates to the site are lagging, so please be patient as I maturely avoid swearing, awaiting a return to normal site functionality.

I believe Michael Brown resigned so he would be available for nomination to the open seat on the supreme court. Afterall, he is a lawyer and by Bush’s standards, very qualified.
