Did you even bother reading the post or the comments before posting your replies? He was part of a conference call in support of the President’s SCOTUS nominee. He’s campaigned for candidates and admittedly “jump[ed] into the political fray with both feet.” If you can’t recognize that as political activity, then you’re beyond help.

Just because Dobson skipped seminary, it doesn’t mean that Focus on the Family is a secular organization. Just as it’s a self-described ministry, Dobson is, by virtue of his stated goals of spreading the teachings of Jesus, a religious leader.

By the way, I’d appreciate an example of how this post or its subsequent comments represents an attack on Christianity and not (as I intended) an attack on James Dobson. Additionally, the criticism of Dobson goes beyond ad hominem. If you’re really interested in refuting the points I’ve made, help yourself.

Whenever some conservative makes a public statement contradicting the fatwas of Imam Dobson, he posts an angry screed on the front page of the FOTF website. “OMG! I Am sooo over Bill Frist!!!
