  5. Maybe it’s the free medical care, but I’ve actually been enjoying the time since my 40th birthday. Oh, I’d love to have the lithe, healthy body I had when I was 20 (and the places to go that don’t exist anymore), but I’m a happier person now and a lot more relaxed about things.

    The available men are better, too.
