Maybe it’s the free medical care, but I’ve actually been enjoying the time since my 40th birthday. Oh, I’d love to have the lithe, healthy body I had when I was 20 (and the places to go that don’t exist anymore), but I’m a happier person now and a lot more relaxed about things.
The concept of a whole society being brainwashed used to be science fiction. Now these pictures look like the president and his cabinet. Happy Birthday!
Having just suffered through my forty second summer, I’m increasingly thinking that the premise of “Logan’s Run” was a terrific idea…
