Double Standard
I didn’t catch Bush’s “major speech” from India today, but from what I’ve heard it was typical pro-globalism claptrap. If I run out of ways to kill time this weekend I might read the transcript. I just hope he used the line “There are just some jobs that Americans with a BA in computer science won’t do.”

Well, I guess Bush never lost a job due to outsourcing…I really doubt he has ever had to call customer service and dealt with someone that hardly speaks English.
Some people? SOME PEOPLE? An entire huge Capital One complex has been totally vacant for the past few years here in Tampa because all the jobs were outsourced.
On a global scale 100-1000 people doesn’t really matter but what if this trend grows to even larger places? What is wrong with Americans wanting to keep their jobs here in the US?
I’d love to see Bush handle a call to DELL and try to track down a $1,000 check that they cashed and never applied towards the balance owed (then tell him that he now owes late fees). Maybe that will change his mind when he has someone on the other line give him a fake name, fake fax numbers and NEVER helps his resolve your problem until the BBB is contacted.
Hell, maybe we should outsource important jobs that may effect our security to shady countries…oh wait.
