Defending Jesus From Liberalism
Y’know, I’ve given Bill O’Reilly a lot of flack over the years for being a bully, a blowhard, and a fool, but you’ve gotta give him credit for one thing. He really is the only person on TV standing up the the secular left in defense of Christian symbols like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny (via C&L) :

The problem is even worse than O’Reilly points out. At the last meeting of the Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy™ Barbara Streisand gave a PowerPoint presentation about ways to remove the Tooth Fairy from the public square and Michael Moore spoke at length about how the Bush Administration has been largely fabricating the serious threat posed by the Boogey Man. Needless to say, their hatred of Christianity was on full display.

I give O’Reilly props for being able to keep a straight face during his show. He is like a great comedian who has mastered the art of not laughing at his own jokes while we are all doubled over with tears in our eyes. A true genius.

I read that Bush plans to use tactical nukes when we attack Boogeyland.

Great post!
Yeah, what does the Easter bunny have to do with Jesus? I’ve been wondering – when did all Americans collectively decide to deceive our children about the existence of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy?

When will these idiots realize that many of our founding fathers were’nt even fucking christians? They were for the most part deists couched in the philosophy of the enlightenment.
God being mentioned in the Declaration does
not equal a country in which religion goes hand in hand with state.

Another battle in the war between bloggers and editors: Flak, not flack. Barbra, not Barbara. Bogeyman, not boogey man (though Random House Unabridged acknowledges bogyman, boogerman, boogeyman and boogieman).
