I happened to turn to Tucker Carlson as he was babbling about it....he called Colbert disgraceful for bringing this up at a formal event....sad, all other forums have been taken away, we can't question the president, we can't dissent ever, now, someone actually gets into the room and tells the TRUTHINESS and guess what, it hurt! I say bravo to Colbert for having Cojones muy gigante! (sorry if misspelled). Still, there are SOME who are still carrying the White House’s water on the issue. Stupid, stupid media. Terrible by Olberman standards. This was about truth telling to power in the clearest possible way. Both to the news media which has failed us again and again, and George W who has always failed us. Mr. Colbert spoke, in a serious public arena, on behalf of all Americans who have seen their "free press" get purchased and then sell-out. Not so much truth to power as truth for the powerless.
