“C’mon, don’t be mad. You know I still love you..”

Hey, they just batter us because they love us. Besides, we were asking for it. We made them do it.

The appropriate couple is the one at the beginning of Brain Candy, the Kids In The Hall movie. Here is Bruce McCulloch driving a stolen flower delivery truck and talking to his woman, played by Mark McKinney.
“Hey, baby, this is my present to you!”
“Present? Oh no no no, you stole that!”
“Sure I stole it baby, I stole it to make it up to you!”
“Make it up to me? How could you sleep with my best friend, and then tell me about it?”
“Sure I told you, baby, but don’t shoot the messenger!”

Congressional Democrats ARE just as guilty of neglect in New Orleans, Iraq, not pursuing OSAMA, soon to be Iran, and all all all all all the rest, as the Republicans. GEEDY REPUBLICRATS—can’t help but love em.
