Lieberman Finds New Ways To Look Foolish
There’s a ton of reasons for Connecticut residents to vote against Joe Lieberman in the state’s upcoming Senate primary. He’s a socially conservative hand-wringer who’s shows a willingness to play the “What about the children??” card. He frequently breaks ranks with his own party in order to bolster his reputation as a self-styled “centrist”. He’s one of the few remaining apologists for some the Bush Administration’s most egregious acts. And he’s a total douche.

But if I lived in Connecticut, I’d vote against Joementum because of this retarded campaign ad :
Here’s a little advice, Joe. Stay away from campaign ads that bear any resemblance to a Hanna-Barbera cartoon. They just invite an unflattering comparison :

You can clear up joementum with a dose of pepto. You also should cut down on your roughage.

I can hear the unwashed masses now, “Joe needs to go! Joe needs to go!” Or, “Say no to Joe! Say no to Joe”
While I wil say that I will happily cast my vote towards Ned Lamont. Neddy needs some help with his campaign commercials too!

Yeah, Lieberman is way too reasonable and rational to be a good democrat. Time for him to go.

Unless you tell me Ned Lamont eats babies in order to fuel his political machinations, I will vote for him. I have been tired of Lieberman for a long time.

Huh? Are we supposed to infer from this that Weicker and Lamont are in a Daddy Bear/Cub homosexual relationship? If that’s what they’re trying to claim, then it’s pretty juvenile and too unsubtle to have the desired effect. It’s just creepy. Sad, really.

That ad is simply amazing. Good sleuthing, Greg. I can’t imagine a better visual representation of Joe Lieberman’s politics than a badly-made cartoon.

what the hell was that?
that was the gayest campain ad i have ever seen.
the ones here are actually ok.
like they dont flame on the other guy.
they state what they’re gonna do withing 30 seconds and have a nice chat at the end about how great they are. even though a year later everyone always thinks that they’re douches anyway.
oh well.
this guy looks like a real douche.

What is this - its an 18 year old ad, for gosh sakes … its dated 1988! I’m all for poking fun at a candidate, but this is certainly OLD news …

That’s the thing about 18 year old ads… they look so dated.
But hey there’s breaking news here too. Joe Lieberman is a total douche. Good to know someone the left is still digging deep and doing the hard research. Keep working on that Al Gore is super cool story too.

If it’s 18 years old, why does it have that “I’m Joe Lieberman and I approve this message” but at the end? That’s a recent development, 6 years at most?

Webgal, are you kidding? The ad above mentions Lieberman’s current opponent by name. It’s pretty obvious that this is a brand new ad that’s a followup to one he made 18 years ago.

You people are poking fun at the same man you whined about not becoming VP with Gore a few years ago. You scary people, robotic puppets being drones. Lieberman is the only Democrat who stands up for what he believes. You should be glad he lost the primary now he can be free from the Democratic Party and continue standing on principles. I have pity on Conneticut. But if you ever get tired of that state, you can always move to Europe like Alec Baldwin did. Whoops, I forgot he backed out of that campaign lie for Kerry, sorry.
