What makes me mad is when people go into an ER, complain that they are having a heart attack and all it is is gas and constapation.

While the patient is there, the patient sends someone out on a McDonalds run. Or they ask if they can have a pizza delivered.

While there certainly are cases where obesity is a consequence of another condition, most of it is volutary. I struggle with my weight because I am older but I also exercise (a lot) and am more intentional about what I eat. My pet peeve is all the fat kids and the parents who won't take responsibility for them. If you think health care and Medicaid costs a lot now just wait until the fat baby boomers and their fat kids start developing chronic debilitating illnesses. It will do to them what smoking is now doing to the greatest generation. It is not pretty.

...I always wonder are they big because something happened so they can't exercise or was their lack of mobility caused by the fact they're so big?

Well, in my wife's case, Hashimoto's disease and a car accident that leave her unable to stand for long periods of time give her no other choice if she wants to not be in lots of pain later.

When I see assclowns staring at her like she's some sort of freakshow, I want to smack them into next week.

Of course, it's easier to make snap judgements about someoen as a person because of their size.

Both "donut" and "doughnut" are correct spellings.

It's one of those words that has two or more different spelling, like color/colour and catsup/ketchup.

I think my biggest pet peeve in the entire fucking world is spelling the word "doughnut" as "donut."

I don't care if it doesn't fit on your dumb mini vanity decorative license plate. It's like eating doughnuts makes you too tired to even spell out the word.

Fuck.

When I see some gigantically obese person riding one of these down the grocery store aisle I always wonder are they big because something happened so they can't exercise or was their lack of mobility caused by the fact they're so big?
