Schadenfreude, the first and worst refuge of the totally self absorbed. Poor things, living out their lives in their own little minds, surrounded by padded walls with nothing but two narrow barred windows to look out at the real world.

Not a bad list of names, but you should probably not use Loki, you're more like a nasty joke he would play on world than the origional article.

By the way, the french were right about the war on Iraq, so were the Dixie Chicks.... Who's been wrong...? Bush, Rumsfield, Cheney....

As for "drained our national wealth during the Bush administration", that is a reference to the national debt. But I see you are not a fiscal conservative.... But as long as you can get yours while you live, screw the future....

I hope for reincarnation myself, so those who carelessly pass problems down to their great grandchildren will find that they are their great grandchildren.

"the peaceful and huggable Saddam Hussein", wouldn't know, ask those neo-con refugees from the Reagan administration, they are the ones who met the man and shook his hand so many years ago. Sold him a few biological and chemical weapons while they were at it too....

But on the topic, this whole Kerry fenzy is silly. Actually, the White House should be sympathetic. Much like Bush the first, he too was born with a silver foot in his mouth. Hopefully this will end any plans he had for another run for the Presidency.

Have a lovey and mean spirited day and a self absorbed weekend. We'll be coming up on Christmas all to soon, be sure to add Grinch to your list.... Or at least Grinchy boy.

"That is so pathetic."

Schadenfreude feels really good. I'm just telling you now, since you haven't experienced it.

"I assume that you identify yourself as a conservative republican because neo-con and religious right have become so repugnant as make even you uncomfortable."

Not really, I just felt it unnecessary to go by all my names. Also acceptable: Asteroth, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, Baphomet, Lucifer, Loki, Satan, Cthulhu, Lilith, Della, Rethuglican and Rovian Agent.

"A true conservative should have the moral fiber to show concern about the possibility that wide scale tampering with electronic voting machines may have effectivly ended democratic government in the United States."

Yeah, sure, that's my biggest concern, what excuse you're going cry yourself to sleep about the next time your side loses an election. What else ya got? The dems lost again because black people were afraid of whitey? The ballots weren't in english and spanish? Dick Tracy and Roger Rabbit's votes weren't counted twice? Zombie voters weren't given proper transportation to the voting booth? Exit polls not matching up with real votes? You know, I hear that in some states, convicted felons aren't even allowed to vote at all! That's, like, another four hundred thousand votes you aren't getting! Ugh, so unfair.

"Even if your candidate should lose in a fair election, I would hope that the concept of a fair election would be more important than the type of power grab which has drained our national wealth during the Bush administration."

Yeah, a power grab. That's the correct term for winning by three million votes. And the national debt killed my father! AND RAPED MY MOTHER! Confound this illegal Bushitler racist assed oil grabbing non-French Parliament sanctioned war on the peaceful and huggable Saddam Hussein! Somebody post a picture of Michael Steele in black face so I can calm down and preach about tolerance.

"I can only assume that you are so small minded that you are incapable of looking into the issues which face our nation and only react to sound bits like the word liberal or the phrase tax and spend...."

Oh, God, don't use those words again. They make me want to vote for a, gulp, evangelical Christian! Lib-urrr-ulll. Blech! Watch out, Cameron Diaz! He's going to make rape legal and then force you to shove a wire hanger up your vag!

"I do have to disaggree with "The American people aren't stupid". The American people are stupid, take Jackie boy for example...."
- Kamachanda

"It is always interesting when a rabid republican comments on your site, Greg. They tend to be arrogant, condescending and illogical, just what they accuse Democrats of being."
- Becky

Reading those comments side by side, you just don't know how happy you make me. I am so certain that your party has gone so crazy, that you're never going to be in power again until there is a huge shift to the right. I'll be honest, I feel good about that. You should be scared, and I thank you for being scared, because when you're scared, you don't act rationally. And when you don't act rationally, you lose. And of course, when you lose, you get scared - vicious cycle.

Greg and his kind are scared. The Google Bomb script is right there, still on his front page. When you have to slink as low as attempting to propagandize an internet search engine to win an election, you're a fucking loser that can't win on real issues.

Vote early, vote often. That's the only way you have a chance.

While <i>briefly</i> flipping through the evening news last night (local, national, cable), I heard at least a dozen different "liberal media" figures opening their coverage with statements along the lines of "Kerry's recent negative comments <i>about our troops</i>". Un-frikkin-believable. Way to continue on as the republican propaganda machine that you are, mass media. You never cease to amaze.

A tempest in a teapot. Poor Kerry, he managed to eliminate himself 2 years early from presidential consideration. But that is probably a good thing. It is pretty clear he was talking about Bush but he did allow the Republicans some talking points. It doesn't seem to matter how he handles these gaffes, it never pleases anyone. Yet Bush Co. gets a free pass everytime he opens his mouth. It is always interesting when a rabid republican comments on your site, Greg. They tend to be arrogant, condescending and illogical, just what they accuse Democrats of being.

Much ado about nothing. Exactly no one in the entire country will be casting a vote for or against John Kerry on Tuesday—so why should anyone care? The fact that this has become an issue in every race down to sewer commissioner in Butte, Montana is preposterous.

That said, Kerry is a fucking knob and stepped right into this. Whose bright idea was it to have Stiffenstein do stand-up? He messed up and then compounded it in my opinion. And though I'd like to applaud his ballsy response, it was actually the wrong move.

I offered up my perspective on this whole affair <a href="http://misterfurious.blogspot.com/2006/11/kerry-problem_01.html" rel="nofollow">at my place</a>.

If the military families vote Republican out of spite because of what (idiot) Kerry said, they'll be essentially supporting the same bunch that conned us into this mess in the first place.<br />
And Bush's announcement that Cheney and Rumsfeld will be staying on for another two years should be especially reassuring to them.

"As a conservative republican, you have no idea how hard my boner is from reading this."

That is so pathetic. I assume that you identify yourself as a conservative republican because neo-con and religious right have become so repugnant as make even you uncomfortable.
I want to partially retract my statement. Obviously the military industry offers many enticing career paths, be they via officer training schools, JAG, or some other examples. Futhermore, some people will join the military out of a sense of duty for their country.

The point I wanted to make was simply that the majority of soldiers fighting in Iraq would probably rather be doing something else if they had the chance. A lot of people join the military because it's their best opportunity to advance in life. It's not a great institution, though. Some people rave about it, but when you're in the military serving on the front lines, you lack certain freedoms, have limited access to luxuries, the pay and benefits stink, and you have the very real chance of getting maimed.

<i>If I hit ctrl+f and did a shot for every time I found the word "abortion," I'd be in a coma for weeks.</i>

You'd be in a coma from doing 7 shots? You sure are delicate, princess.

Back on topic, this was obviously the dumbest thing Kerry could do. I thought he was supposed to help the party, not stick his foot in his mouth.

I also don't believe his explanation. Let's be honest, bright people with great career options don't go into the military. People go into the military when they have no job prospects and/or no other alternative to get into college, or when they're troubled kids that need "discipline" or "structure." No one ever goes "My future is wide open, let me join the armed forces."

As a conservative republican, you have no idea how hard my boner is from reading this. Not just this post, but your entire blog. You are one of the most neurotic libs I've ever had the pleasure of reading the thoughts of, beaten out in crazy only by a few 9/11 conspiracy theorists. Are you one? Because that would be some wonderful icing on the cake. Bitching about rodeos, jacking off to Keith Olberman, endorsing Google bombing... If I hit ctrl+f and did a shot for every time I found the word "abortion," I'd be in a coma for weeks. Thank you for all the entertainment. I look forward to checking back here in a week to watch you freak out, crying about racism and voter fraud.
