Told You So
Lieberman just voted with the Republicans to prevent a vote on a non-binding anti-surge resolution. Apparently it’s only Democratic filibusters that Lieberman has a problem with.

No real surprise…his last campaign was heavily subsidized by the GOP.

There was a blog post the other day, and I think it was Matt Yglesies but I”m not certain. He accurately spelled it out: The Democratic Party has a Lieberman Problem.
What irks me is that they were warned so many times. We tried to make it clear that he was a moving republican and they wouldn’t listen. Only crazies and irrational freaks supported his challenger. Now they’re fucked. He has the party by the balls and they know it.
Lieberman should have been persona non grata the second he decided to keep his seat in 2000. Hopefully they’ll learn from this.

He and Hadassah are obnoxious. He whines. He should go live in Israel.

Hmm Rudi, not sure what the point of your comment is, other than to point out that he’s Jewish. Not sure how that’s relevant to what we’re saying. Maybe you should clarify your point.
I, for my part, don’t give a damn about his wife’s alleged whininess or where Lieberman lives or ought to live. I do however give a damn that he is a consistent and infuriating sellout DINO who should have switched parties long ago. And the democrats are stupid for letting him get into a position where he can well and truly fuck them.
