I don’t like the Dems writing endless check and then on fight night reavealing they’ve always had n’assitol. Are the Dems so afraid to snatch the ‘morality mantle’ from the hyper-conservative orthodoxy? Grow a pair!! I hated to see what appeared as the systematic emasculation of Barack Obama’s —self. I can’t lie and say he came out with guns blazin and then got calmed down by the powers that supported him. That just wouldn’t be honest. Barack Obama came out half-cocked, and the Plain…uh, Hail-Palin (Mary) almost worked. She is exactly what I consider to be the Achilles Heel of Feminism. I said it. Women who happen to be prettier than their smarter and more substance filled counterparts, are played to by their sadist/megalomaniacal/delusional ’superiors’ like McCain. Then the Palin-McCain ticket is revealed, as an educated, and MIS-educated American is tapped to seize her 5 minutes of fame and grasp at international straws (leaders) in meetings lacking ANY substance and dare I say it, shame.
With a social conscience and a global consciousness that probably runs deeper than Alaska’s oil reserves, Angelina Jolie has more business running for Vice President on the Republican ticket. Except for that party affiliation and ‘executive experience’ crud. By the way, forget about taking it easy on Palin. If she can shoot a moose for fun, she deserves to get the full brunt of the OBIDEN attack. Not that I am against hunting…

In other news, the Foundations frickin rocked. I, like just about everybody else, may have only heard two songs (’Buttercup’ and ‘Baby, Now That I’ve Found You’), but those are a couple of ‘oldies’ that I actually appreciate more each time I hear them.

Replace them all, one by one if need be, until all the vichy Dems are sent stumping off to the old lobbyists home.

Bloggers need to make politicians more scared of us than they are angry at us.

Think about what would happen if, say, the NRA supported a candidate who turned around and voted against the NRA’s interests, what do you think they would do about it?

They’d have attack ads ready to go and primary challengers lined up. They’d make that candidate into an ugly example of what happens when you f*ck w/ the NRA.

Bloggers need to go NRA on the Vichy Dem’s asses.

Fucking Word.

I guess the difference is that I never expected the Dems to do much. I’m still pissed that a reliable liberal and decent human being (Linc Chafee) was voted out even though he was one of the few people with the foresight and backbone to be against the war from the start. He was replaced by a do-nothing careerist Democrat all in the name of “stopping the Republicans”. Yet somehow the Dems have done nothing except approve of wiretapping and a torturing attorney general. Meanwhile, we relected our Democratic reps who voted FOR the war.

Basically, I’m sick of both Dems and conservatives pretending that there is ANY kind of equivalence between “Democrat” and “Progressive.”
