Obama's probably another Kerry, or Gore--They fill the Dems with hope during the primaries, wipe the floor with their Democratic opponents, and sound *great* in their speeches.
When it's time to meet their Republican opponent, they just lay down and play dead. no resistances, no attacking the OBVIOUS lies, misdeeds, hypocrisy, NOTHING. Gore did it, and Kerry did it faster.

maybe Obama won't do that, maybe Edwards would if he got it. (he did run with Kerry, so I'm dubious about his cred)

I like what Edwards said the other day about sticking it to corporations, but....REALLY? this is the first I've ever heard of Edwards' standings. it SOUNDS great, which is why I smell BS. video or it didn't happen, as I've heard the kids say....

how much proof is necessary to get folks to believe that the 2 parties are no different from each other, just different masks on the same ghouls? You wouldn't just believe a used car salesman when he says "this is a great car!", would you? why the heck would anyone just *believe* a politician who suddenly SAYS great things that we've never heard from him/her before??

Senator Obama is a very talented speaker, his victory speech was one of the best I've heard in a long while.I hope to better understand the details of his platform as the race rolls on. There can be no doubt this speech has captured the attention of many Americans as indicated by the volume of views on the internet.
