Speaking of things devastating to McCain, did you know his favorite fundie John Hagee said that God let the holocaust happen so that the Jews would move back to Israel?

It’s usually typical for the media to ignore these kinds of connections (they’ve been slowly but surely brainwashed into mainstreaming these demented clowns because of their 30+ year presence in the Reagan coalition), but in the wake of their orgy of Wright coverage, and (more to the point), the Obama campaign’s relatively effective managing of that, I think they may have a bit of remorse for their actions. (I know, I know…it seems unlikely given their track record.)

    I think this might, just might, manifest itself in them taking a closer look at, and more widely publicizing, Hagee’s sheer insanity. Because nothing, and I mean NOTHING, that Wright said can begin to compare to this and half a dozen other utterly vicious and insane statements made by that tubby lunatic.
