Just Sayin’
Bobby Jindal sounds like a Cajun Mr. Rogers, which is fine if he’s leading storytime at the public library, but not when he’s following a President who seemed to be channeling FDR.

Yeah, forgetting about the content of the speech for a second, this guy sounded like Kenneth the Page reading a story to a five year old. It’s like the Republicans think we’re all stupid AND WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE WE’RE STUPID. Also, the fake laugh and fake “aww-shucks” demeanor just doesn’t work on him. If he came out and basically acted like the Republican Obama – a smart ivy-league grad who’s an experienced and capable crisis manager – he might have something. But this condescending tone and phone folksiness just isn’t working.

Jindal did not answer the most pressing question of the day…When are we going Mars?!

It’s a free market day in our neighborhood, a GOP stooge in the neighborhood, isn’t it fine, Fox News won’t whine?

Jindal is from Mars, thus he provides a final proof that there is no intelligent life on Mars.
