Today’s John Kerry quote is a short one, but very important :

Remember that the job of the president has three key responsibilities in his job description : Chief executive of the fiscal and domestic policies of the United States, head of state and therefore the nation’s chief diplomat, and commander in chief of the nation’s military forces. We dare not avoid discussing two-thirds of the job.

Now let’s take a look at these three points again :

Chief executive of the fiscal and domestic policies of the United States

Head of state and therefore the nation’s chief diplomat

Commander in chief of the nation’s military forces

If you honestly think Bush is a better man than Kerry for any of the Presidential responsibilities above, I’ve got three answers for you : record debt, rampant anti-Americanism, and a motherfucking quagmire. Is it worth the gamble that the next four years will be any better than the last?
